Creative people are like generators. We need fuel to run, and rest & maintenance to function at our highest creative power. To get the most out of your innate ability to generate great ideas, you have to ignore the idea of work-life balance. Its a myth that will make you unhappy.

About One Fast Buffalo:
Native Texan Ben Jenkins is an American designer of graphics, brands, and products. He is the the Founder of Onefastbuffalo, INDIG & Warstic Bat Co Ben got his start in design at Mississippi State University where is painting teacher "strongly suggested" he might be more suited for Graphic Design than painting. After college Ben had a short stint as a Minor League Baseball player for the Philadelphia Philies where in his down time he picked up his first freelance design jobs. Turns out that is a good way to pay for food, water, shelter and clothing. After completing his MFA in Art & Technology at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Ben founded the design firm OneFastBuffalo. That was around 1998. Since then he has been: trying to figure it out, trying to be less of a creative industry A-Hole each day, getting good at living a creative life, practicing the art of freedom and mobility by living in trailers, and generally simplifying life to carve out time to be a good dad, a better human, and to make brands of his own while crafting solid client work. Made a good living along the way and has some advice for the kids. Thanks for coming. Live Slow. Make Fast.
