Empowering our Creative Community

We just recently hosted our first Creative Rally to kick off the fall with energy and excitement for our local chapter. [Check out the photo booth pictures on our facebook page!] We are excited for what is ahead of us as we continue to build and sustain a thriving and inclusive design community in our city.

Since our inception in 2010, our core intent has been to bring AIGA’s national mission of “advancing design as a professional craft, strategic tool and vital cultural force” to San Antonio. As the 66th and newest chapter to the national AIGA family, we are beginning to find our legs and plant a stake in the community. As a chapter, we have been working to mold a calendar of upcoming events that are wide reaching in content and speak to professionals and students in all facets of their career development. We hope that throughout the next year you will find yourself looking forward to the upcoming events and leaving them incredibly inspired.

We strive to be a welcoming hub for creative discussion, inspirational and educational programming, and inter-industry networking and collaboration beyond comparison in San Antonio. The potential is here for a thriving chapter, and it is undeniable.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you are interested in AIGA and looking to get involved! Our current Board of Directors is made up of eight dedicated volunteers and it is ever growing. There are opportunities for any one to get involved with the planning and brainstorming on our Board. Find out more about getting involved with one of our five teams: membership, communications, education, partnerships, and programming.

We are eager for your input and insights on creating a better experience for you and our community. We hope you will consider joining us in the effort to build this energetic, inspiring and rewarding destination for designers and other creatives in San Antonio. Let’s make it happen!
