Handle Your Sh*t – A Path to Better Béziers with Mark Caneso

Where do you go after practicing your hand lettering skills with paper & pencil?

Austin type designer Mark Caneso (@markcaneso) will lead this workshop to transform your analog drafts into functional digital artwork. Point by point, you will learn to click and drag your way to better beziers.

Bring your laptop loaded with whatever vector program you prefer (Adobe Illustrator) and get ready to get busy.
Participants will work on a variety of exercises, watch some demos and receive constructive feedback at various stages during the workshop. Depending on time and individual skill level, the workshop can include rough pencil thumbnails, refined sketching and digital execution or artwork. The goal is to bring analog ideas into the digital realm so each attendee is encouraged to bring in their own process sketches to work on during the course. By the end of the class, everyone should have a better understanding of the nuances and relationship between hand drawn artwork and digital drawings.
