Meet and connect with creative community members for some casual networking and a talk from our special guest Hugh Weber.

Over the past several months, Hugh Weber, AIGA National Board member and Membership Committee Chair, has been traveling throughout the country visiting communities of design as part-researcher, part-story discoverer and part-community organizer. For this AIGA San Antonio event, Hugh will be sharing what he’s learned on these visits, answering questions from our members and discussing possible future scenarios for AIGA and the communities that it connects and celebrates. Hugh Weber is a community organizer, network theorist, story discoverer, civic rider, design advocate, and small town kid from Milbank, SD. As Creative Counsel to design leaders and visionary executives, Hugh leverages the power of connection and relationships of influence to reveal the rich stories, vibrant cultures, thriving networks, and the infinite possibility that often lays hidden in the communities, organizations and people we love most.
